Drill pipe is hollow, thick-walled, steel piping used on drilling rigs to facilitate the drilling of a wellbore. It comes in a variety of sizes, strengths, and weights, typically ranging from 30 to 33 feet in length. The hollow design allows drilling fluid to be pumped through the pipe, down the hole, and back up the annulus.
Our drill pipes are designed to support their own weight for combined lengths that often exceed 1 mile into the Earth's crust. It is a critical component for exploring new drill sites.
