Bench and production drilling tools include rods, shank adapters, couplings and bits. We provide 7 main thread types: R3212, R32, HL38, T38, T45, T51, T60, ST58 and ST68. They are designed for seamless integration with button bits, cross bits, and reaming products.
Drifter Rod: Also known as tunneling steels or drifting drill rods, these are available in round and hexagon shapes. Hexagon drill steel is primarily used for tunneling and drifting. Hexagon rods are more rigid, heavier, and transfer energy more efficiently while enhancing flushing capabilities.
Extension Rod: Known as extension drill steel or speed rods (M/F rod). Round rods are generally lighter and commonly used in extension drilling applications. Extension steel is characterized by duplicate threads on each end of the steel.
