Extension rods are manufactured from high-quality hollow drill steels. They are available in two primary shapes: round and hexagonal. The central hollow hole, known as the flushing hole, is essential for transmitting water or air during drilling operations. The integrated threads allow for secure connections with couplings, shanks, or drill bits.
Typically, extension rods feature threads such as R22, R25, R28, R32, R38, T38, T45, T51, ST58, and T60. Standard lengths range from 600mm to 6400mm to suit various drilling requirements.
